Cotton 1850's red, green and yellow princess feather quilt, all hand appliqued and hand quilted with unusual reverse applique and a vine border. It measures 80" X 82" and has remarkable hand quilting, with quilting around and within the applique and in elaborate and tiny floral, berry, straight line, grid, and other designs in the background, all at an even 12-13 stitches to the inch. The back is the same aged white used in the background, the hand stitched binding is red, and the batting is thin.
