Note: Stanley is the daughter-in-law of John Mix Stanley and exhibited at the National Academy of Art, New York; Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Philadelphia; the Detroit Institute of Arts, and the Memorial Hall, Ann Arbor, Michigan. She was a member of the first Detroit Water Color Society and was for many years a member of the National Society of Western Artists. Also, she held membership in the Ann Arbor Art Association, the Art Club of Detroit and the American Federation of Artists.
