The body decorated in white cameo glass with spiky-petaled flowers,
the reverse with a sheath of wheat and butterfly, on spreading foot decorated with white glass gadrooning on yellow ground, maker's mark on base, the mounting in silver-gilt by Frederick Bradford McCrea, London, 1885, hallmarked, ht. 10 3/4 in.
