Description
A Chinese bronze yi with a 4-character inscription in the basin dating to the Ming dynasty or earlier. There is a Greek key border around the rim. The spout is shaped as a beast head and the handle as an elephant head. There is a 2-character mark on the bottom.
Dimensions are: 4 inches tall X 6 1/4 inches wide; 10.2 cm tall X 15.9 cm wide. Weight: 490 grams. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: There is age and use wear.
