Description

These wool works by British sailors were known as 'woolies'. This example was likely made by a sailor to commemorate a trip to Japan.

Dimensions are: Frame size: 20 1/8 inches tall X 16 1/8 inches wide; 51.11 cm tall X 40.95 cm wide. Sight area: 18 inches tall X 14 inches wide; 45.72 cm tall X 35.56 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.

Condition

Frame has been distressed. Some discoloring to the white border. Age appropriate color.
