"It was very calming and comforting in reducing to a minimum of the closest people and a minimum of space during the lockdown. All the time we spent together, inevitably, in the same space created a strong bond that was unlike any other bond in other circumstances.
The connection was strengthened not only for the family members but also for the home itself. To the space and objects within it, to its unique sights and sounds. Apparently when we spend enough time in a particular home space, even the simplest space, the "familiarity" of the space makes it unique and important to us.
There is some comfort in knowing that everything remains as it is inside the house when the outside is noisy and threatening for various reasons. It is reassuring to know that we are in control within our little place and it even seems to me that we have control over time". Tigist Yoseph Ron
