Rothamsted Agricultural Station (inked stamp on endpapers). A handbook for Italian farmers. Cosimo Trinci was an Italian agronomist active in the 18th century. L'Agricoltore Sperimentato or The Experienced Farmer was originally printed in Lucca in 1726 and is considered to be his masterpiece. For over a hundred years, this work was widely used as a guide by farmers who held Trinci in high esteem.
