Grouping of 16 pieces of white ironstone china, most in Wheat pattern, 19th century, including: 4 soup bowls marked "Royal Patent Ironstone. Turner, Goddard & Co." - one with a tight hairline extending from rim, otherwise all in very good condition - 8 7/8" diameter; 3 soup bowls with various marks including "Elsmore & Forster" - all in very good condition, no damage - 9 1/2" diameter; 3 soup bowls with various marks including "Royal Patent Ironstone. Turner, Goddard & Co." - all in very good condition, no damage - 9 5/8" diameter; 2 small matching serving bowls, one marked "Elsmore & Forster" - one with a tiny firing imperfection on rim, else both in very good condition, no damage - the larger 9 1/2"W x 2"H; a chamber pot marked "Royal Patent Ironstone. Turner, Goddard & Co." - no lid, otherwise very good condition; creamer, unmarked in very good condition - 6"H; teapot marked "Royal Patent Ironstone, Burgess & Goddard" - very good condition, no damage - 10"H x 9 1/4"W; and a platter with impressed mark of "J. Wedgwood Ironstone China" - very good condition, no damage - 14 1/2"W x 11"D. Provenance: All ironstone from the estate of Jeanne Atkinson who resided in NYC, and was a long time member of the White Ironstone China Association.
