Stretcher 39 1/4 x 35 1/2 in.; Frame dimensions 41 x 37 1/2 in.
Ernst Erwin Oehme was the son of the German Romantic painter, Ernst Ferdinand Oehme. Many of the younger Oehme's paintings are reminiscent of antique French Gobelin tapestries.
