Beautiful post war work influenced by classical Czech modernism.
Jindrich Brok is in the George Eastman House data base. His images are in the University of Texas, Harry Ransom Humanities Research Center. He was born in 1912 and studied photography starting in 1934 with Jaromir Funke and Josef Ehm. He is known primarily for his images of the Jewish cemetery of Prague's Old Town district and his studies of Bohemian glass. His work is published in several Czech photography books. He died in 1996.
