John was a Master Sergeant at the age of 24 due to his leadership ability, intelligence, common sense, experience, and the ability to accept great responsibilities. He started his business career as an overseas marketing consultant for fortune 500 companies while developing marketing strategies, he became aware of the value in historical Asian porcelains. It was not the monetary portion but the historical value that they held. The larger his collection grew the more love he had for each item. He retired after 42 years to be at his wife's side.He was a Member of Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), American Veterans (AMVETS), and Military Officers Association of America (MOOA.) The old soldier just faded away but will never be forgotten.
