Item Details

Description

1930s-1940s, Black textured crepe with long sleeves, one flounce, has an attached shrug that goes over the shoulders with pointy sleeves. Collar is a black silk. Slips over the head and closes with metal snaps and a hook and eye on the left side. Has 6 cloth covered buttons. B 40" x W 32" x H 40" x 55" L

Condition

Good: did not find any holes in this gown, however has some dirt and fading on the bodice and lower left at the seam and the front, the back has significant dirt or stain at the hemline. Need all the seams to be resewn. One button is missing the fabric. Has a metal snap on the left side that must attach to the shrug.
