Pre-Columbian, Ecuador, Chorrera culture, ca. 1000 to 500 BCE. An amusing bi-chrome canteen vessel in cream and brick-red. The vessel has two small lug handles with a spout in the form of an erect and anatomically correct phallus. On one side of the jar are added red lines probably representing pubic hair. Guaranteed to raise a few eyebrows! Size: 5" W x 6.5" H (12.7 cm x 16.5 cm)

This piece has been tested using thermoluminescence (TL) analysis and has been found to be ancient and of the period stated. A full report will accompany purchase.
