MID-ATLANTIC LATE FEDERAL MAHOGANY EASY CHAIR, wing-back form raised on ring-turned and reeded front legs terminating in ball feet and square back legs. Modern blue tweed upholstery. Legs with early, probably original surface. Probably Philadelphia, PA. Circa 1815. 39 1/2" HOA, 18" H cushion.
Very good visual condition, previously fitted with casters, several minor stains to fabric. Not examined with upholstery removed.
Provenance: The collection of the late Theodore "Ted" and Alvina Breckel, Oley, PA and Winnetka, IL.
