Renaissance Revival carved walnut cheval mirror, mid 19th c., three turned finials over crest with cherubs and figural mask, the tilting flat plate mirror held between fluted columns with Corinthian capitals and foliate accents, stretcher-joined curved legs with center floral and turned finials, ending in scrolled feet, rising on casters, small loss to carving and trim, approx 88"h, 39"w, 24.5"d **Note: a similar mirror appears in photographs taken in Pierre-Louis Pierson's (1822-1913) studio of Virginia Oldoini (1837-1899), Countess of Castiglione and mistress of the Emperor Napoleon III of France.
