Boston, Circa 1780
In select mahogany. Interior with pigeonholes, drawers and central cupboard. Cupboard door with satinwood corner fan inlay. Conceals three block front molded drawers, the top with relief fan carving. Case with four graduated full-width drawers and ogee bracket feet. Retains period replacement hardware.
Height 43.5”. Width 41.75”. Depth 23.5”.
Provenance:
Property of a direct descendant of Thomas Jefferson, the contents of the Brick House at Coolidge Point, Manchester by the Sea, Massachusetts.
