Siebe Gorman 2 Diver Wood Communications Box - NOS

Item Details

Description

Incredible original and complete Siebe Gorman 2 diver communications telephone box! It appears that this beautiful piece of diving history is in unused complete condition! The external wood case with impressive brass hardware is a visual treat. There is aging and dirt that could be cleaned off the outside to make its appearance even nicer. The outside of the case measures 17" wide, 12.5" deep and 10" tall. The approximate weight is 31 pounds.

The outer case appears to be complete with brass fittings, hardware and Siebe Gorman plaque. Inside the case, all the original equipment is present and in wonderful preserved condition! On the inside lid is the complete diagram and instructions for use! The paper is almost like new with inspection stamp present. The second lid for the battery compartment also has multiple small small plaques which are commonly broken off.

All the actual hardware appears to be in like new condition as well. There is a pair of curious and unique cloth hoods with communications speakers attached. We are not sure why it appears that the hoods would cover the entire face. Both hoods also have inspection stamps on them.
