Letters from Consuelo Joerns to Edward Gorey, mostly from the 1980's and 1990s, one postmarked Nov. 4, 1974. One letter includes a carved stone frog sent from "Sue/Michael of course!". Typed letter from Houghton Mifflin Company to ConsueloJoerns returning her book Nutmeg and notifying her they won't publish it, dated Dec. 5, 1985, which she forwarded to Gorey. A postcard addressed to Consuelo Joerns from "Bob" and postmarked 18th Aug 1954. Both typed and hand written letters, somenewspaper clippings and articles. Provenance; the estate of Consuelo Joerns.
