This single piece artwork is comprised of road debris, photographs, and reconstructed images. An effort of five years of accumulating the pieces on US41, then uniquely assembled with meaning on to a board measuring 36" x 48".Dot Lingren has won Best of Show and First Place for her original art at shows in Ft. Myers, Bonita Springs, and Cedarburg Wisconsin. Her work is in private collections in Naples, Fl, Chicago, IL, Milwaukee, WI, Indianapolis, IN and elsewhere. Born and raised in Belmont, Massachusetts, she lived on a wooded hill overlooking Boston, which to her looked like a jewel box at night. Her family loved the arts, so Dot's childhood was filled with music, art, ceramics, travel and photography, and her love for this continues with her today.
