**First Time At Auction**

East Asia, China, Qing Dynasty, ca. late 19th to early 20th century CE. A beautiful nephrite jade pendant carved into a flat, rectangular shape with an openwork of stylized scrolling forms. Within the open work are two dragons and swirling clouds. The dragons' heads meet at the top of the pendant with their mouths open in snarls. The nephrite is a wonderful ombre of light green, beige, and orange inclusions. A brown nylon cord has been attached to the top with an auspicious knot woven into the end. Two tassels adorn the lower part of the pendant. Size pendant: 1.5" L x 0.2" W x 2.25" H (3.8 cm x 0.5 cm x 5.7 cm)

Great condition. Minor surface scratches. Strung on a nylon cord. Cord is knotted in the center but could be untied to make pendant wearable.
