Tanya Tucker's Navajo Solid Sterling Silver 23" Animal Squash Blossom Style Necklace - This lovely necklace from Tanya Tucker's personal collection is a Navajo squash blossom style necklace decorated with hand carved animals, which is incredibly rare as it is unique to find an all silver hand carved animal squash blossom necklace. The necklace features silver animals including rabbits, beavers, badgers, squirrels, and a central lizard naja, on a traditional silver bead necklace. Measurements: 23" length. All of the items in this sale come directly from Tanya Tucker's Tennessee home. Tanya Denise Tucker (born October 10, 1958) is an American country music singer and songwriter who had her first hit, "Delta Dawn," in 1972 at the age of 13. Over the succeeding decades, Tucker became one of the few child performers to mature into adulthood without losing her audience, and during the course of her career, she had a Top 10 and Top 40 stream of hits. She is one of the most celebrated and gifted artists of this century with a career spanning over almost six decades. This item will come with a copy of the document signed by Tanya Tucker allowing GWS Auctions' lead auctioneer (Brigitte Kruse) to issue certificates of authenticity on her behalf.
