Antique Ornate Pressed Tin Globe de Mariee or Globe de Mariage Garniture. This wonderful object was made to hold the headpiece of a bride after the wedding, and was meant to have a glass dome over it (not present with this piece). It has pressed metal leaves and a bird that surround a small mirror. The mirror sits above a removable container and has a fern etched into the glass. Delicate and ornate decorative object that would look great in a Victorian home.
