Modern interior still life painting by American artist, Jane Kirstel, 1931-2020. Curtains swagged to the side to reveal a dark moody interior scene of a table and lamp with drastic shadows. Painted on plywood box and marked on back "#2" and stamped "Studio Jane Kirstel New York". Jane Kirstel had her Masters in Fine Art from the State University of New York at Albany. She also attended the Rhode Island School of Design where she received her BA.
