Pair of French Art Deco Parquetry Inlaid Oak Marble Top Nightstands, 20th c., the inset highly figured brown marble over a fielded panel frieze drawer and an inlaid cupboard door with a fielded panel marble lined pot cupboard, flanked by fielded panel sides on one example; the second with a frieze drawer over open storage and a lower marble lined pot cupboard, with like sides, both on turned tapered reeded legs, H.- 33 in., W.- 17 1/8 in., D.- 15 in.

Condition consistent with age. Nightstand with door: Shrinkage crack across proper right side. Would benefit from cleaning. Nothing to report about any marble on top or in bottom shelf. Normal wear and tear to wood. Cabinets secure and in working order. Nightstand without door: Paint fleck and light stain on front. Normal signs of wear and tear, small nicks and scuffs. Would benefit from cleaning. Sturdy. No markings on either side of shelf, indicating it was designed to be an open shelf. Nothing to report about marble at top or in base.
