French Empire Style Carved Mahogany Marble Top Sideboard, 20th c., the highly figured rounded corner gray marble over setback double cupboard doors, flanked by pilasters with ormolu caryatid heads and feet, on a plinth base, on square tapered legs with ormolu sabots, H.- 40 1/2 in., W.- 44 1/4 in., D.- 20 5/8 in.

One repaired break through marble with yellowish repair/fill visible on top. Chip from front proper left corner of marble. Doors and drawer work smoothly. Some general wear and tear per normal use. One area of deeper scratches (through finish) where door swings over bottom lip. No shrinkage cracks. Interior shelves present. Brass ice bucket and lined shelves present.
