Antique Royal Vienna Austrian porcelain portrait plate. Has a hexagonal shape with hand painted Roman scene to center. Has hand painted scrolled gilded design to border with white enamel beading. Signed "E. Mattheus" lower left. Holds blue underglaze bee hive or Bindenschild mark to bottom. Circa late 19th century. Measures 14 1/2" diameter (36.8cm). Total weight of 1148 grams.
