Vintage model 896 wall telephone made by Stromberg-Carlson Mfg. Co. in the early 1900's. The Stromberg was given the nickname of "farmer's friend" due to it being reliable and used mostly in rural areas. Phone appears to be complete but this is not guaranteed. Lower shelf has come loose but is still attached. Serial number "951157L". See photos. Measures 26"T x 15" D x 8.5"L.
