Lot comes with 2 steamer trunks including one with a White Star Line label. White Star Line trunk is missing all leather straps. Inside is in good condition with some paint wear on the lid. Has lock but no key. All parts are original and in unrestored condition. Very nice piece. This interesting old trunk with its well worn patina and distressing with steel clad sheet metal. It has its original latches and hardware. No keys are available and missing the tray that would go inside. Both handles are leather but are missing. There is a missing fragment of one of the handles that is included inside of the trunk. Inside the lid has a well worn floral paper lining as well as several religious stickers inside the cupboard. The hinges are a bit loose. The lid stay needs to be reattached. This item would make a great coffee table. Approx. measurements are 36" wide by 20" deep by 22" tall.
