Frank Weston Benson (American, 1862-1951)

Pair of Ducks, 1916, total edition of 277 (Paff, 102). Signed "FrankWBenson." in pencil l.l. Etching on Shogun paper with partial watermark, plate size 4 7/8 x 3 7/8 in. (12.3 x 9.9 cm), unmatted, unframed.
Condition: Deckled edges to two sides, affixed to the page from the book along the right edge.

N.B. This plate was steel faced after two impressions, and printed as the frontispiece for volume one of Adam E. M. Paff and Arthur W. Heintzelman's Etchings and Drypoints by Frank W. Benson.
