Japan, a fine blue-turquoise "writhing dragon" porcelain vase, Awaji Kiln from the late Meiji period (1868-1912).Dimensions: , 14.5 in high ; 5.5 in wide at base, Meiji period, (1868-1912).The heavy porcelain vase crafted in a tubular modernist form with brilliant blue-turquoise green glazed finish with an applied twisting dragon sculpture. Has a small chip to 1 dragon claw(see pic). Vase is a bit tilted when placed on flat surface(Non-Symmetrical).Dragon has 3 claws on each leg(non-imperial). A Rare Find!
