A PAIR OF GEORGE III IRISH SILVER TWO-HANDLED CUPS, by Daniel Egan, Dublin 1807, retailed by Clarke & West, repousse with fruiting vine, acanthus leaves and scrolls, each with presentation engraving dated 1828. 19.5cm high, 28.7 troy ounces The engraving reads: To the Revd. Jas. Taylor, three Years Curate of the Parish Church of Bradford, these Cups were presented by a few Friends. As a Token of Respect for his Character and Administration of his faithful and devoted Services. Feb 16 1828. The Parish Church of Bradford is now known as Bradford Cathedral.
