CULTURED PEARL NECKLACE WITH SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND CLASP
The single strand of 6.0mm - 9.5mm cultured pearls on a clasp set with a central brilliant-cut diamond, within a surround of rose-cut diamond duos, cushion-shaped diamonds and similarly-shaped sapphires, principal diamond very approximately 0.65ct, remaining cushion-shaped diamonds approx. 0.60ct total, length 47.5cm

The cultured pearls of creamy white bodycolours with subtle rose and green overtones. Three-four cultured pearls of a deeper cream bodycolour with rose, green and gold overtones. The darkest of these (eighth pearl from the tongue), with a soft lustre, eye visible blemishes, areas of peeling and an uneven surface structure. Remaining pearls of soft to high lustres with generally smooth skins. Some blemishes, pin pricks and a few areas of uneven surface structure visible upon close inspection. Small eye visible dimples also visible to some pearls.

The sapphires of medium to deep blue hues with varying degrees of saturation. Two stones with eye visible mineral inclusions and colour zoning. Abrasions to facets/facet junctions also visible upon close inspection.

Principal diamond estimated I1 clarity, J/K colour. Remaining diamonds VS2-SI1 clarity, J/K colour.

Clasp converted from a different jewel. Tongue not engaging, stamped 18K. Solder to jump ring at other end.

Overall in good condition.
