Trudyashiyesya, k oruzhiyu! Vy nuzhny Krasnoi Armii! [Workers, to Arms! The Red Army Needs You!] , a poster signed TB in plate, attributed to Tymofei Boychuk. [Kiev, 1919], 74.5 x 54 cm.

The poster was likely produced in response to the May 1919 Ukrainian Socialist Republic Government's proclamation also titled "Workers, to arms!" which called for an immediate mass mobilization against the assortment of Nationalist and Anarchist bands advancing on Kiev. There is a penciled note on the poster's margin in Ukrainian that translates as "A present from the Commissariat, 24 June 1919".

Tymofei Boychuk (1898-1922) was the younger brother of the important Ukrainian artist and pedagogue, Mykhailo Boychuk. Following the lead of his brother, he became actively involved in the variety of monumental propaganda art projects that had spread around the revolutionary Kiev, and occasionally ventured into poster production.
