EDWARDIAN STERLING SILVER EPERGNES, C. 1904-07, PAIR, H 11", W 12":A pair of sterling silver epergnes, each centered by a trumpet-form vase, flanked by two scroll arms supporting a removable floral/fruit dish, raised on paw feet; openwork borders. The hallmarks of one indicate James Deakin & Sons of Sheffield, 1904-05, the hallmarks of the other indicate Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co. Ltd. of London (a large business of retail jewelers and silversmiths), 1906-07; each removable dish with corresponding hallmarks. Weighing approximately 37.0 and 35.2 troy oz. total, respectively. Property of Virginia McMillan Lambrecht, Grosse Pointe Shores.
