Description
The 19th century hand colored photogravure image of engine 664 with a body of water in the background, the Black Diamond was a luxury passenger train named for the valuable anthracite coal that also traveled on these rails, the image is displayed in a gilt mat displaying gold embossed advertising placards, the images bears copyright date of 1898, original period oak frame.
Sight size measures 12.25 x 20.25 with a framed size of 21.75 x 31.75 inches.
