Description

For your consideration is this Civil War Era confederate rifle form parade torch shown from the 19th century. The parade torch shows a gimbaled tin torch top with soft pine wood constructed rifle and cast iron hammer ands trigger guard. This parade torch was meant to accompany military type uniform torch light parades. The condition of this parade torch is good showing some wear from use and age but in overall good display condition. The measurements of this parade torch are 62 1/2" x 6". Provenance: from The John Hunter Collection a South Dakota Civil War collector.
