Beautiful double sided black lacquered and hand painted scenes. Decorated with hand carved designs of foliage and birds on one side and Chinese imperial court on opposite side.
On brass feet with brass hinges. Byobu, also known as a "wind wall" are Japanese folding screens made from several joined panels, bearing decorative painting and calligraphy, used to separate interiors and enclose private spaces, among other uses. Slight wear and tear to all panels.
