Heinrich Schroeder (1837-1898), German immigrant and famed Catholic altar/pulpit builder, did altars and polychrome carvings in churches throughout Cincinnati, most remarkably, the Gothic sacristy at St. Francis de Sales, Cincinnati, OH, the angels at Mother of God Church, Covington, KY, among many others.
