French Bench Stool Hand Carved Louis XV 19th Century

Louis XV hand made and carved roll arm bench or stool from France 19th century. Original antique white/cream paint with bits of the wood showing beneath. All existing paint is adhered. Wonderful carving of acanthus leaves and floral along the rolled arms,knees and escargot feet. Short cabriole legs. Floral carving on the apron center front and back. Seat is still very tight and firm with the springs and straw in place. Light burlap covering ready for padding on sides and new upholstery. Measures 41L X 18D X 25.5H to top of arms.Current seat height is 16.5 from floor and could be raised if needed when upholstered. Excellent for end of bed or any application.
