Description
Mainly Late Period, 664-332 BC. A mixed group of stone and composition amulets, most pierced for suspension or with integral suspension loop, comprising: a foot with geometric pattern to base; crocodile; frog; scorpion(?); snake; scarab; a quadruped standing on a base; a flower(?); wedjat eye; deity in the form of a lion holding a disc, possibly Sekhmet; one other, incomplete. 10.5 grams total, 9-27mm (1/4 - 1"). Property of a Surrey, UK, gentleman; formerly in a private Scottish collection formed 1950-1970. [11, No Reserve]
