Description
1st millennium BC. A mixed group of ceramic vessels comprising: a small dish with waisted conical body, broad everted rim painted with fish and geometric motifs; a carinated vessel with vertical walls and shallow foot; a globular bodied jar with trumpet-style neck and rim, geometric motifs painted around the outer body; a bowl with rounded conical body and painted ring to the interior; a carinated bowl with c-section neck, everted rim and convex base, a styled serpent painted around the outer body. 960 grams total, 7.2-15.3cm (2 3/4 - 6"). From an important deceased Japanese collector, 1970-2010. [5]
