19th-early 20th century AD. A group of three oval-shaped plaster cameos, each housed within stiff card frame with gilt upper edges: the larger with male portrait bust in profile facing right, handwritten 'n66' to frame; one with male portrait bust in profile facing left, 'M.A.PLAVTVS' and a small theatre mask either side, '399' to frame; the smallest bearing standing winged Eros holding lit torch in one hand and Psyche in butterfly form in the other, 'nIn' to frame. 6.6 grams total, 23-32mm (1 - 1 1/4"). Property of a Cambridgeshire gentleman; acquired from a Sussex, UK, lady. [3, No Reserve]
