EARLY 20TH CENTURY US NAVY OFFICERS SWORD Etched blade of 31 inches, engraved with the name "R L Lerch". Light wear and rust patches. Wire bound shagreen grip with brass guard and hilt (decorated with oakleaves). Leather scabbard with brass fittings, the bottom two are heavily engraved with oakleaf designs. The throat piece has engraved initials to both sides. The sword is tight in the scabbard. Size: See description
