Description
A Chinese red-glazed vase dating from the Kangxi period that has been converted into a lamp. The lamp has crystal pulls. The vase's glaze has been unevenly applied.
Dimensions are: the vase measures 14 inches tall X 6 1/2 inches wide, 35.6 cm X 16.5 cm, while the whole lamp measures 32 1/2 inches tall X 8 1/2 inches wide, 82.6 cm X 21.6 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Possible crack under the glaze spanning the length of the body.
Provenance: From a private collector in Southern California.
