Description
A pair of Chinese celadon vases dating from the 19th century that have been converted into lamps. The vases feature low relief carvings of lotus decoration with ruyi and banana leaf bands around the neck.
Dimensions are: each vase measures 13 inches tall X 7 inches wide, 33 cm X 17.8 cm, while the whole lamp measures 29 inches tall X 7 inches wide, 73.7 cm X 17.8 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Aside from their conversion into lamps, both vases are in overall good condition. One vase has a large iron pit.
Provenance: From Mr. Marsh in Chicago, Illinois. Inherited from his parents.
