Early 19th Century Hand Pieced and Hand Embroidered Kashmir Paisley Shawl. The intricate handmade shawl on a red wool ground dates from the early to mid 1800s and has a central black medallion. The early textile shawl most likely was made in India and is in good overall condition with slight minor loss on one corner. The square shawl measures 66" long x 66" wide.
