Title: Mystic Romances of the Blue and the Grey: Masks of War, Commerce and Society

Description: This is not the inexpensive print-on-demand version of this book. This is an extremely scarce book. Title pages says "pictures of real life scenes enacted in this age, rarely surpassed in the wildest dreams of fictitious romance." The bevelled cover has gilt lettering and images of Lee and Grant. All edges are gilt. Covers are dirty, rough, and have wear through. The frontispiece, tissue guard, and title page are together but separated from the binding. I see three pages with light pencil marks. Page 13/14 is present but detached. Some of the illustrations are in plate form. Full refund if not satisfied.
