Description
18th Century Round Jackfield redware Tea Pot with Squared Handle from 18th Century. Pot is made of Brown Clay Covered with Glossy Black Glaze in the Jackfield Style. Both Pot and Lid are free from Chips or visible cracks, except for one defect on the inside of the bowl approx. .25" in length. Measures approx. 3.25"h and approx. 8.25"w. Provenance: Directly from consigner. Her husband was a doctor on The Main Line, Wayne, Pennsylvania. He predominantly collected Philadelphia silver, London silver and other objects of considerable interest including fine art, period furniture, Oriental rugs and fine reproductions in the manner of Williamsburg Virginia furnishings by kittinger and Baker.
