A pair of English William IV style papier mâché firescreens stamped by famous maker Jennens & Bettridge, circa 1830, each featuring a finely painted, picturesque hunting scene done in the 18th-19th century Romantic manner. The shields are adjustable in height.

Condition

Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. The shields are in excellent condition and minor repainting. The height is adjustable.
