Salvador Dali. "Voce magna clamavit: Lazare veni foras. Et statim prodiit qui fuerat mortuus (He cried out with a loud voice, "Lazarus, come forth." The man who had died came forth, bound hand and foot with wrappings, and his face was wrapped around with a cloth)" Mixed technique lithograph in colors on handmade paper from the "Biblia Sacra" suite, 1967, Rizzoli Editions, Milan, Italy. Sheet size: 13 3/4 x 19 inches. Framed dimensions circa 20 x 28 inches. This is not a reproduction or later printing but the original print published as part of Salvador Dali's iconic Biblia Sacra suite. Salvador Dali was commissioned by the Alabretto family in 1963 to produce the images for the Biblia Sacra. Alabretto hoped the commission would bring him closer to God. The Biblia Sacra suite is considered one of Salvador Dali's most important works and no expense was spared in creating this monumental suite. The print price guide for Salvador Dali graphics lists the retail for lithographs from the Biblia Sacra suite at $8000 each.
